ViewApp - finalist of Promtex program for creating IT solutions card

On September 10, 2020, the final of an important event took place - the program of search and implementation of innovative solutions for the PROMTEKH industry under the patronage of the Skolkovo Foundation and the Ai-Teko Innovation Center.

The Skolkovo Technopark organized a demo day, which featured 14 startups that passed a rigorous selection process of more than three hundred and fifty applications and were among the top 50 finalists in the full program cycle.

Startups in the main mass are aimed at reducing the presence of man and his binding to the business processes of the enterprise, which is the most valuable thing at the moment. ViewApp technology is universal, as it is a tool for absolutely any inspection, and covers a huge number of cases, from insurance to the most daring expectations of customers. The main advantages of ViewApp are the guarantee of the authenticity of inspections, contactless method of monitoring and inspection of any object, fast implementation into the company structure, reducing the cost of doing business by many times.

The industrial sector, before which pitches were made and questions were answered by representatives of startups, was represented by such companies as:

- Gazpromneft - Digital Solutions;
- TECHNONICOLE;
- Norilsk Nickel;
- Kirov Plant, etc.

More than one hundred and forty large industrial enterprises sent their representatives for a day, and this is not surprising, because the main goal of the program was to help industry to find innovative solutions for digitalization, and for the stupas it is a real chance to get large customers and implement their projects.

The new virus pandemic, in addition to negative effects, stimulated the accelerated development of digital technologies, and everything will continue to develop at an even greater pace, as those companies and industrial enterprises that will seek to digitize their activities, not only optimize business processes, but also get tangible competitive advantages.

At present, the main platform for startups is traditional acceleration programs with trackers and mentors, but that program adopted a slightly different approach, which the organizers thought would be more effective.

The main pain points of corporate acceleration programs were identified by the Director of Development of the Ai-Teco Innovation Center as follows:

- Difficulty in formulating business objectives;
- The need to customize the project to the customer's needs;
- Distance of corporations and start-ups due to the difference in understanding of business cultures.

Therefore, the method of mediation was chosen, where only those teams were selected that had an already clear and mature product ready for implementation with small modifications - this is what potential customers value most. During the PROMTECH program, more than one hundred face-to-face meetings, working directly with customers, as well as training in B2B sales and sharpening of public speaking skills were organized in order to present their developments more effectively.
