ViewApp releases new iOS interface

ViewApp has good news for smartphone owners – a new iOS interface has been released.

New features in iOS:

1. Updated detailed inspection screen. This screen is designed so that the user can easily understand at what stage of the inspection he/she is and continue shooting from the moment it was interrupted.

2. Updated screen of preparation for inspection. Users of the previous version often complained that it was not clear how many steps they would have to take to perform the inspection. Now, before starting the inspection, the user will be able to see what steps he/she would need to take, and what time it takes at average, for example, a car inspection.

3. The updated screen of the shooting results per stages. Now, after completing all the steps, the user can review all the completed results: photos and videos. The user will also be able to mark the steps with poor image quality, as well as correct photos and videos taken by mistake.

4. Improved navigation when performing inspection step by step. Now, at each stage of the inspection, icons appear to illustrate the status of the stage: incomplete; in progress; completed and ready to be sent for review;

5. Now it is possible to continue unfinished shooting (for example, after a dead battery or a failure in the phone). The application now allows to finish inspection after restarting the system or exiting the application. The countdown set for the inspection stage will continue from the interrupted moment. For example, in many insurance companies, inspection of a car should be performed within 30 minutes. 

6.Improved sending of data to the server. We have changed the technology of sending data to the server. We have improved sending stability. The speed has increased several times.

7. Check for missing fields. Users have long been waiting for such a function. Now, if the field must be filled in, the user will not miss it, as he/she receives a prompt from the app.

8. Field "Registration plates' recognition". Now you don't need to type in your vehicle’s registration number. You can simply and quickly scan it directly from the car.

Android phones owners have already tested the new interface. As a result of the new UI introduction, the number of remote inspections in purposes of personal property insurance has increased significantly, equaling the number of inspections made by independent examinations.
