ViewApp founder's speech on the SberZ School Accelerator Demo Day
The end of September was marked by the demo day of the first SberZ School Accelerator.
One hundred schoolchildren of 8-11 grades from 4 educational institutions of Moscow participated in the selection of this Accelerator, but only eight teams managed to make it to the final and present their startups to the court of high audience on the demo day on September 27, 2020.
Over the course of several months, future entrepreneurs have been developing their startups with experienced specialists in methodology, as well as communicating closely with various professionals and businessmen.
One of the teams was moderated by Alexander Fokin, founder of ViewApp and Accelerator participant from Sberbank and Startups 500 in 2019. In his farewell speech to the finalists of the School Accelerator SberZ, Alexander not only wished the participants good luck and always go to the end, despite the difficulties, but also noticed that the guys are pioneers, and it is always difficult.
Accelerators give startups a lot not only in terms of gaining experience of interaction with investors, but often there is such a polishing and grinding of the project, which can even radically change the concept or method of product delivery. Besides, there is also training on how to present your ideas in a compressed form, because on a demo day you need to present a pitch that can convey the idea to investors and the jury in the most concentrated form. Now is the time when the information should be very concentrated and clear, and the startup itself should be capacious and effective. Only such business ideas can survive and continue to function successfully.
