VIEWAPP speaker at the Collateral Caseirium No. 5
The regular annual Collateral Caseirium No 5 "New risks, new trends", organized by the International Banking Club "INTERBANKCLUB.com", took place on 23 March 2023.
The participants of the online event, 145 delegates from 35 banks and 23 cities, discussed extremely relevant topics related to collateral activities, in particular, remote monitoring channels, increasing the recoverability of collateral loans, and other aspects.
Alexander Fokin, CEO and speaker at VIEWAPP, presented the VIEWAPP digital inspection platform, with which some participants are already quite familiar and even have positive experiences of implementation just to monitor and control collateral objects.
After the keynote presentation, Alexander announced the introduction of a sophisticated new feature in VIEWAPP - Multi Inspections.
The multi-inspection is a feature which has been developed over a year together with Raiffeisenbank and has already been tested in their business processes. In simple terms, the multi-inspection is a separate type of scheme which is made up of other schemes and from these schemes a comprehensive inspection can be compiled. When is Multi Inspection used? For example, when the task is to inspect a single tractor or a single building - this is very easy and clients can use VIEWAPP themselves - there is no problem on the bank's side. However, if you have, for example, a production site, two plots of land, three buildings, production lines in the buildings, five tractors that drive somewhere in the fields and 10 trucks that drive somewhere else in different places, this kind of monster inspection is done using the Multi Inspection Scheme.
The presentation received a lot of feedback and questions, which showed the undoubted interest of participants in the innovative VIEWAPP digital inspection development, which enables a fully digital service with data protection against tampering. For example, the following questions were raised:
- What is the anti-fraud of photos? What prevents photos from being taken at a neighbour's flat?
- Is there a case of using the app in a mortgage to prepare an appraisal report, if so, does the service share responsibility for the accuracy of the photos? Or does all responsibility rest with the appraiser who signs the report?
- Is the branded assembly a one-time purchase product: do you buy the assembly and use it, or is it by subscription?
- How is the issue of video confirmation resolved, if large objects require a large amount of data and duration of the video recording?
- How is the service implemented: through an application that the client has to install or online in a browser?
Alexander not only gave comprehensive information, but also presented some interesting specific features of VIEWAPP, such as the possibility of adding one's own location to a map and comparing it with a planned geolocation. This is useful, for example, when surveying an area of land where the boundaries and location are difficult to determine on the ground and clues and landmarks are required.
